Travel South of Bordeaux, France and you will find a vast collection of regions producing a wide variety of wine styles. While some varietals produced here, like Bergerac, share the same vine varieties as Bordeaux, others reflect their own distinct identities as shown by Cahors. Scratching your head yet?  Chef Jean Vendeville of Savannah Technical College’s Culinary Institute will guide you through a tasting of South Western France’s finest varietals while pairing each wine with the decadent and renowned cuisine of the region – think everything from duck rillettes to cassoulet and foir gras...oui!
