ANNOUNCEMENTS & FEATURED HAPPENINGS:

10-14-14:  Happening Friday, November 14th, Rocks on the River, The Bohemian "Meet the Winemakers After Party", great tapas and small plates for $25, wines sold by the glass.  Meet Chef Lenny McNab and winemakers in town for the Festival.  Tickets for this event are available on our ticket page.

10-11-14:  The Festival is now taking applications for the Waiters Race at Taste of Savannah.  To sign up click here.

10-09-14:  The Festival is now accepting donations for our two silent auctions, benefiting the West Broad Street YMCA.  For more information on how you can donate click here.

10-03-14:  The Georgia Grown Village application is now available for all Georgia Grown members.    The deadline for submission is October 31, 2014 excepting food vendors who must have their completed application submitted by October 15th.  If there are any questions regarding the Georgia Grown Village please contact Tom Neville: by phone at (706) 505-8155; by email at Tom.Neville@agr.georgia.gov

FESTIVAL BRIEFS

The Tourism Leadership Council is pleased to announce the 2014 Savannah Food & Wine Festival.   According to festival President, Michael T. Owens, “The overwhelming success of the inaugural Savannah Food & Wine Festival translates into an even bigger and better 2014 festival.

 

The Taste of Savannah will now take place in Ellis and Johnson Squares, the River Street Stroll will be in an expanded area and we’re in the process of finalizing plans on several new events and venues. We will have the full festival line-up of tickets on sale by June 1, 2014.”
